City of Anaheim

The La Jolla Institute was asked to assist the City of Anaheim as they established context and priorities for an economic development strategy with the redevelopment agency, public utility department and other appropriate departments. To facilitate this process, the La Jolla Institute:

• Provided professional level strategic input for use by City staff in planning utilities and economic development strategies. Using expertise in policy research and analysis, provide high-level assistance to staff in charting future courses in utilities service offerings.
• Participated in and/or facilitate strategic planning workshops pertaining to City utilities and economic development planning.
• Participated in management and staff meetings/discussions and collaborate with staff on:
  • Public policy trends within municipal government in developing viable, long-term economic policy decisions.
  • Pertinent research information that will prove helpful to staff in formulating long-term utilities and economic development policies.
